Ambassador Scholarship - 1st Year

Ambassadors Learn & Network!

Ambassador Scholarship recipients have a front row seat at the NYS Agricultural Society Forum, the largest and oldest agricultural meeting in NYS where all sectors of the food system gather to explore topics critical to the future of NY agriculture and our world food supply. Whether attending college or just getting started in the agricultural work force, Ambassadors have a unique opportunity to hear from and engage with industry decision-makers through networking opportunities and personal and professional growth trainings. Each Ambassador is paired with a mentor with a similar interest, an intimate knowledge of New York agriculture, and extensive experience with the annual Forum. Participating as an Ambassador is a great addition to any resume, and will influence coursework, research opportunities and career paths.

Overnight accommodations, meals, Forum registration and one year of NYS Ag Society membership are included in the Ambassador experience. If you have participated as an Ambassador previously, you may apply to serve in the 2nd Year Experience. All applications are due November 15.
